‘Artist and writer, Fine Art lecturer (at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, University of Dundee, Scotland) and Mountain Bike guide (H+I Adventures), Henderson has exhibited and made performance art works since the late 1980’s, completing his last festival performances to-date in 2007, at PAIR02 (Lahti, Finland) and at Blurr 6 (Tel Aviv, Israel). In 2013 as part of the Golden Thread Galleries Collective Histories of Northern Ireland Series: Catalyst Arts he performed a new work, Woman in White and Black, which was made from elements of, Ghost Dispenser, a work performed at Catalyst Arts in 1995. His paintings were included in the group exhibition, Drawn Away Together, at the Talbot Rice Art Gallery in Edinburgh in 2013 and followed in 2014 by Domestique, a solo exhibition at The MAC in Belfast. His poetry has been published in Anon, Gutter Magazine and Northwords Now, as well as in a number of other journals, magazines, and anthologies, and he has written catalogue essays and critical texts on work by other artists.’
